Write topics around keywords you’d like to optimize for. Write solid informative content.

Make sure your web page header reflects the keywords you are going after Your web page header should match your browser title. Keep your browser title between 50 and 60 characters Write a concise and compelling page description with a good call to action.

Take your own photo. Canned images are conversion killers and make you look like you are not resourceful. Make sure your image has the proper alt tags (use your topic). Also don’t forget to re-size the image to a smaller size to assure the page loads fast.

Make sure secondary paragraphs have H2, H3 and H4 headers.

Do not put keywords into your meta description. Google doesn’t care and all you do is let your competition know what keywords you are going after.

Encourage visitors to socially share the information. Especially Google +1 the page as many times as you can. The best way to do this is to take a very specific topic for a very specific industry.

If you have similar topics, cross link them with internal anchor text. If you are selling anything, make sure you link to the sales pages as well.

Finally, assure to use proper content schema to illustrate to the search engines the type of content on the page.
